Una altra mirada al món

Hi ha diverses maneres de mirar el món i la vida humana tant individual com social. Una de les mirades més suggestives és la que mostren aquests llibres:

Charles Dickens (1812 - 1870) - Sketches by Boz (1836), The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club (1837), Oliver Twist (1838),  Nicholas Nickleby (1839), Martin Chuzzlewit (1844), David Copperfield (1850), Little Dorrit (1857)... 

G.K. Chesterton (1874 - 1936) - The Club of the Queer Trades (1905), The Innocence of Father Brown (1911), The Wisdom of Father Brown (1914), The Incredulity of Father Brown (1926), The Secret of Farher Brown (1927), The Scandal of Father Brown (1935).. 

P.G. Wodehouse (1881 - 1975) - My Man, Jeeves (1919), The Inimitable Jeeves (1923), Carry On, Jeeves (1925), The Secret of Father Brown (1927), Meet Mr. Mulliner (1927), Mr. Mulliner Speaking (1929), Very Good, Jeeves (1930), Mulliner Nights (1933), Thank You Jeeves (1934), Right Ho Jeeves (1934), The Code of the Woosters (1938)...

Aquests escriptors aconsegueixen mostrar uns ambients molt especials en la seva normalitat i naturalitat reflectides amb intel·ligència i bona informació i amb una dosi de meravella, enigma i fins misteri en la quotidianitat i senzillesa. Especialment David Copperfield i Oliver Twist, quasi totes les novel·les de Cheesterton i apareixent en ocasions molt ben aconseguides però més puntuals en les novel·les de Wodehouse. Tens la impressió com si en algunes d'aquestes descripcions s'amagués o fins s'intuïs, el secret de la reailtat, de la condició huana i en algun cas es freguès vagament i com de passada el de l'Univers. 

I encara que e no tant com els tres anteriors, també una quarta autora:
